Our Mission: “To Produce Spiritually Productive People for Effective Ministry through Christ-Centered Teaching and Good Works”.
Our Purpose: Though nontraditional in style, CNLT is a church that is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. Our purpose is simple: to become a biblically functioning community of believers so that Christ's purposes can be accomplished in this world. At CNLT, we sincerely believe in the absolute need for everyone to know why we are here and where we are going. Every church must know its purpose from God and how every member fits into that purpose.
The six purposes of our church are…
† Worship - We were created to worship God from the overflow of our heart because true worship is one thing He seeks. Matthew 22:37 states "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. This is the greatest commandment."
† Prayer - Prayer is the primary means of communicating with God. A communing relationship with God sets our gaze on Him and His will and power in us. 2 Chronicles 7:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:16, Matt. 7:7-11
† Evangelism - Evangelism is leading people to Christ. Matthew 28:49 states "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them…
† Fellowship - We are to participate in spiritual friendship, through ministry in the church, in the home, and in mission to the world. Acts 2:42 states "They devoted themselves to… fellowship with one another."
† Discipleship - Discipleship is becoming fully devoted to Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:20 states "Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
† Ministry - Ministry is loving people. Matthew 22:39 states "And the second is like it; 'Love your
neighbor as yourself.'"
Our Values: However, what truly defines a church is not simply its doctrine, but its values. Celebrate New Life Tabernacle’s values shape who we are. Below are our core Spiritual Values and some of the passages from the Bible that support them:
The Spirit of Unity - "I pronounce "Unity" in the Lord." Ephesians 4:3
The Spirit of Integrity - “I am a person of "Integrity" in the Lord." Psalm 25:21
The Spirit of Excellence - “I function in "Excellence" for the Lord." 1 Chronicles 28:21
The Spirit of Servanthood - "I am a Servant" of the Lord." 1 Peter 4:10
The Spirit of Communication- “I am a good "communicator" in the Lord." Ephesians 4:29
The Spirit of Accountability - "I am "Accountable" to the Lord and to His church." Romans12:5
The Spirit of Joy - "I possess a spirit of "Joy" in the Lord." Philippians 4:4
Our Core Prayer Initiatives:At CNLT, we believe that prayer is the mainstay of a Christian's life. God is Spirit and we must worship Him 'in spirit and in truth.' Our spiritual life is non-existent without prayer. We must be in constant relationship with God through prayer to get the victory over Satan. We are even told to 'pray without ceasing.' The Scripture says, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." Prayer is the ability to talk with God directly; prayer is also how God speaks to us. We can form an intimate relationship with God through prayer. We can give God our praise and worship; thanking Him for the blessing He gives us personally. Remember, 'little prayer, little power, much prayer, much power'.
Pray for evangelistic fruit (Matthew 28:19)
Pray for a filling of the Holy Spirit and a release of spiritual power in the congregation (Acts 1:8)
Pray that God will continue to grow the church by adding to our number day by day (Acts 2:47)
Pray that our church will be a disciple making church (Matthew 28:16-20)
Pray that our spiritual leaders will preach, teach, and live the Word of God without compromise (2 Timothy 4:2-5)
Pray that our church will continue to fulfil its life mission in the earth, which is to "Produce Spiritually Productive People For Effective Ministry Through Christ-Centered Teaching And Good Works" (Ephesians 4:11-12)
Pray that our church continues to financially prosper in the Lord to support our Mission's ministries and ministry dreams (2 Corinthians 9:6-12)
